Wine Advocate-Parker: The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Chaumées comes from two plots that form 0. 22 hectares. It has a slightly muffled bouquet when compared to the Maltoie which demonstrates more delineation from the barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with a spicy entry, although it does not quite have the refinement and harmony of the Maltroie on its unruly finish. 

Wine Tasting: The complex aromatic bouquet is dominated by notes of verbena, green tea and mint. The palate is fat and generous, we perceive pretty notes of nuts and honey. This wine perfectly represents the very solar plot and wealthy limestone soil.
