Embruix 2015, Vall Llach
28% Cariñena. 23% Garnacha. 14% Syrah. 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. 17% Merlot
Vermillion in color with a dark purple rim, this wine has appealing aromas of chocolate covered cherries, forest floor and nuances of sweet spice. The wine is both alive and well balanced on the palate, with notes of red and black fruit that includes fresh plums, Bing cherries and boysenberries, with a hint of black licorice on the finish.

When we tell visitors to our cellars that this wine is based principally on the juice
of young plantations, between six to twelve years old, incredulity and
admiration are the customary response.
And with reason. Only careful cultivation, well-managed micro-production,
vinification differentiated by variety and estate using low-volume tanks, and above
all, the miracle worked by the Priorat region on both the native varieties and on
Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes can explain this splendid result:
Embruix, Catalan for bewitching.
Immediately agreeable, but with a repertoire of powerful gustatory and olfactory refinements, this is a wine that satisfies both the connoisseur and the casual consumer.
